Mission Statement of St. Mary’s Church

We, the members of St. Mary's Parish located in Wayne affirm our belief that together with all who accept Jesus Christ as the Risen Lord, are a pilgrim people seeking salvation. We have made the commitment to worship God, to educate by passing on the faith, to witness the Gospel by living a Christian life, and to love and serve each other and our neighbors. We will contribute the time, talent and treasure necessary to further these spiritual purposes. With God's help, and through the intercession of Mary, the Mother of God and our patroness, we will make our parish community one which is seen by all as Catholic Christian.

SUNDAY MASSES: Saturday, 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, 8:00 and 10:00 a.m.
RECONCILIATION: Half hour before weekend Masses or by appointment.
BAPTISMS: The third Sunday of each month. Parents are to attend pre-baptismal catechesis prior to baptism.
MARRIAGES: Parishioners should arrange at least six months in advance.
SACRAMENT OF THE SICK: Celebrated individually upon request. If someone is seriously ill, please call the rectory.
NEW PARISHIONERS: You are invited to call or visit the rectory or see the pastor following Mass.
COLLEGE STUDENTS & VISITORS: We welcome you and pray that you will feel at home worshipping with us.
