What is RCIA?

RCIA, which stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a process for those who are not baptized or those who have not yet been received into the Catholic Church to become Catholic.  Those entering the Catholic Church undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, the doctrines and dogmas of the Catholic Church, and profess their faith in Jesus Christ.

Who can attend RCIA?

Any adult or college aged student who is interested in being Baptized, becoming Catholic, or receiving the sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion.  We also welcome anyone Catholic or non-Catholic who would like to come and learn more about the Catholic faith to attend our classes.

Anyone who is high school aged or younger can enroll in sacramental prep through our Religious Education Program.

When does RCIA start?

RCIA runs from September through Easter.  We meet on Tuesday nights at 7:15 PM in the parish office conference room.
